10th July 2010

I don't know how to write this sad news... Skittles decided enough was enough, and yesterday afternoon flopped in his favourite spot behind the sofa for the final time.

This coming Wednesday he would have been a year old. We are devastated.

  3. Oh geez I don't even know what to say - there is nothing worse than having someone you love (rabbit, human, or otherwise) taken suddenly away from you.

The only thing I can offer is this thought: though there is pain now, it will fade soon and you will be left with the happy memories of Skittles. And as long as you keep those memories in your heart, well then Skittles is never really gone.

  4. OH NO!!!! I am so so sorry, such a little guy big cuteness and heart. It's good that got to leave his bunny body while at home, the mortal coil is just too much for some......We send hugs to you and cry Skittle shaped tears....

  5. Words are so inadequate when one of our furry cuties leaves us, especially when they go way too soon. Skittles will will be well taken care of on the other side by our bunnies who have gone before.

    You are loved, Skittles.

    S is for scampering around
K is for keeping everyone on their toes
I is for illuminating your world
    T is for tasting tables
T is also for touching our hearts
    L is for love
    E is for exploring boxes
S is for how sorely you will be missed

    Until we meet again Skittles

  23. When a bun goes to the bridge, it seems all bunnies know about it. Mine are all wishing Skittles a safe trip and peace until they all make it there to be with him! My Tucker is there. She'll snuggle him! I'll have my bunz tell Tucker to look for him, in their telepathic bunny language. Peace for you and Buttons.
