He then pauses on the second to bottom step and thinks for ages about how he'll manage the dismount to the floor, and nearly always decides to fling himself off fast and make a run for his safe place in the living room! It's quite hilarious to watch.

Thanks! Ever since your posting some time ago that Buttons had learnt to go down the stairs, I have wondered how he actually does it, he is such a little boy!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I find going downhill disconcerting, myself.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about that second picture - what a great shot, full of character! And I can picture Buttons hesitating on the second to last step, my rabbit Frank often does that too. What goofs :)
ReplyDeleteYa know Hef's never tried to go down the stairs just up to his room. hmm.
ReplyDeleteOooooo we need to see a video!!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have stairs. I don't know if Sogna's ever even attempted them. When Biff was staying with someone in a house for a few days, he would go back up to his room when he was done with all the people but never came downstairs on his own.
those are big stairs for such a small bunny! Brave Buttons!

Lovely to meet you and find your blog... Your photos and stories are great.
ReplyDeleteBut I was so sorry to read about Skittles.
Love to Buttons,
