It's a cold, wet miserable day, so we're staying right here! Don't worry, we've got plenty of newspaper to shred and hay to munch on.

What time is it?

The Clock Change for British Summertime has left us all "am I tired, am I hungry? is it dinner time? Bed time?" Hopefully normal body clocks will resume soon.

Sleepy boy

I must have disturbed Buttons - he did not want to move! Sorry Buttons. But look, I did get his-royal-cuteness on film, first the great little yawn (go to 45- 50 seconds in, as to be honest, the rest of the film he just sits there looking tired!):

Climbing and jumping

For ground dwelling animals, these two do like jumping and climbing on obstacles (or boxes and sofas in our case!)

I love it when buttons closes his eyes with bliss at having his head licked!

I went for a walk this morning and found bunny favourites, dandelion and cow parsley... very gratefully received!

Play time 2

Just proving my point... I have two films but this one is the funniest as not only do they play with their new toy, but also demonstrate how when they are a bit excited they jump on top of each other (and neither seems to mind this) :)

Not surprisingly, like small children, Buttons and Skittles are never interesting in any toys we buy them, but instead take pleasure in :

a. tearing up old newspaper

b. hiding in/on and chewing old boxes and

c. tossing around a toilet roll inside!

If you ask me it's a fine line between grooming and trying to eat someone's entire head! Buttons seems to be enjoying himself though...

Skittles seems to have grown bored of grooming Buttons, and has started to instead to groom his toy bunny!

He tries to act all tough, but clearly he's a big softie, and still a baby (7 months next week!).

Climbing

The human and husband were upstairs watching TV this afternoon, when we heard a quiet tapping sound. 'Is that the door?' said husband. 'Can't be' said the human, 'too quiet'. And suddenly, four little ears appeared at the top of the stairs! This was a first!

Skittles, being the bravest, decided to demonstrate his newly found stair climbing prowess by going up and down a few times (show off!)Buttons however started to panic, as he couldn't work out how his little legs could get him down again!
Even after husband tried to give him a few pointers, he decided he'd rather hide under the bed until someone carried him back downstairs. Which we did of course - they are happily returned to the kitchen and a pile of kale for reward!
