Can we just check though... this new hand blender thing that came with the box - will you be using it to chop up lots of carrots and greens for us? We hope so!
New boxes are always fun! I fear you may be wrong about the use of the hand blander and certainly hope that your mum doesn't make soup out of any of the vegetables that you could eat. We'll have to keep an eye on her.
